V1 software question
Hey everyone.. i am new to the V1 community as i have sold my 9500ix to get a v1. so please cut me a little slack :). anyways, my software version is 3.813. I am wondering if this is okay because i know that there is more updated versions and i dont really notice many of the other forum members with this version. what are the ups and downs of 3.813? maybe someone could fill me in of just general info on software versions if they would be so kind? thanks everyone! i really appreciate the time and effort!
P.S: I plugged in me serial number into the V1 website and it says that my V1 version is 1.8. I realize that this is not the same as the software version but i am wondering if this is a number for the set of parts the unit has in it. thanks again!

Re: V1 software question
3.813 is one of, if not the most highly regarded versions of the V1.

Re: V1 software question
From what I have researched this is held as the best V1 platform!
If your concerned about it working up to par send it in for a check up and your all set:thumb2:

Re: V1 software question
What alot of members will tell you that this is the best V1 available. The only thing to do is have it tuned up once in a while.

Re: V1 software question
you have the best V1. All you need to do is send it in for a tune up

Re: V1 software question
The only downside to the 3.813 is the lack of reliability. They normally need to be sent in for repair quite often, like every year or two. Other than that, it's fantastic!

Re: V1 software question
I have a 3.813 and it works swell. Bought it in 2004 and it's been tuned once. Getting ready to send it in soon for another tune probably :)
Wifey has 3.863...
