V1 Direct wire kit and Consealed Display Ordered!

Hey everyone, i just thought i would chime in and say that i just bought a CD and direct wire kit. They are being shipped back to me in the same box as my V1 because it is in for a tune up right now. anyways, i have a sick idea for the setup and i will post pictures and a video as soon as i get it all set up. I am so stoked. I love the V1.

I tried to convince my dad to get one but he wouldn't listen. Hes staying with his Whistler XTR-330... i don't know why... he has gotten busted with it (by laser) so now he thinks all detectors suck and a better one is not worth it. Stubborn... I tried to explain to him that laser is basically undetectable unless you are hit with it and even then your detector is just telling you "you now have a ticket, good luck getting out of it!"

i did get my buddy to buy one though. he got it and absolutely loves the arrows and range. he had a ****ty cobra before so we just chucked it out. I cant believe i had a 9500ix before... i mean, it has okay range and its quieter but it has some downfalls. like the "Trulock" feature. I had it turned off becasue it kept locking real LEOs out. :mad:. I cant believe that i lived without the arrows before... its so nice to know where the threat is instead of the RD going off and you have to check all mirrors, scan the road ahead, and scan the opposite side of the highway for LEOs. also, when i returned my 9500ix and bought a V1 and i made a bit of a profit off of the change haha!

I gotta figure out how to become a :zombie3::zombie3:. Can anyone help me out? :D

First of, great move with the extra equipment. It will be worth it.

As for your father, maybe if you take him for a ride and he sees the V1 in action he will change his mind.........

Ofcourse he will need some transponders if he really wants to step up to the plate against lidar.
