Receiver Error message

Got this message today on the STI-R.It happened during a KA alert from the County Sheriff.I turned it off and restarted the STI-R.I hit it the receiver with the PL3 and it alerted to the laser.


Is there a possible problem with the receiver or maybe just a hiccup?

I wouldn't take any error message lightly. That's why we put them in it, to warn you of a problem with the system before someone wearing a uniform does ;)

First check your receiver wiring make sure the connection from the radar receiver cable to the "through the firewall" harness is good. This connection should be straight, not bent or the connections inside it can fail. I've seen people use tie wraps near this connection which can bend the connection and cause problems.

If the connection seems good then you should contact your installer. Contact us if you purchased it from us and installed it yourself.
