I enjoyed it by myself, but when I'd take passengers along they'd become irritable with its false alarms (especially my dad). I completely understand. They just don't get it.I didn't mind them so much, but it was kinda annoying to slam the brakes on the highway when a hotel set it off. (terrible grammar, sorry) Plus, a perturbed 300 lb motorist tailgating me became impatient and flew past me with his 10 mpg 4x4 expedition.
That didn't bother me as much the false alarms. I tried all 3 modes with and without POP;If you change the "modes" without programming, you're doing nothing. the falses were still a pain in the a$s. I didn't want to reprogram any specific bands because I may need x band for a road trip.
Overall, it did its job to detect radar, but it was too intense for my passengers. I was regretful to send it back, but now I'm trying a 9500ix as recommended by a friend. Someday, I'll get a ZR4junk from radarbreakersradarbusters to complement it.
I though i should share my experience with the radar experts.
