Saved Some Money Today

Investments are great when they either make money for you or save money, and today was a big time SAVE.

At around 9 am I was driving south of the Atlanta airport on I-85 in the favorite LEO trap in College Park where the PSL is 55 with 6 lanes or more and was doing at least 70 in the far outside passing lane. All of a sudden both the V1 and Blinder M27 go off simultaneously (actually the V1 might have gone off just a hair first) and I immediately hit the brakes and then fumbled around for the shut off switch on the M27.

And there he was up ahead off the right side of the highway lighting everyone up. I'm pretty sure I took a direct hit because I was passing everyone at the time so he had me as the primary target. He never pulled out after me or sent a chase car. I'd sure like to know what he saw on his gun when I was getting nailed. It must have been a bunch of lines or error because 15+ mph over was prime for a ticket.

About 500 yards down the road they were running another trap on the other side of the highway for cars going north and had chase cars.

Don't ya just love saving money?? LOL :D

NICE SAVE!! It's good to have those big saves. That's where our toys pay off.

Btw, was he on the northbound or southbound side? and by what exits were the two speed traps?

The one hitting me was on the southbound side but must have had a clear shot as I rounded a curve with cars to my inside.

On the trap going north, they were also on the southbound side with the guns next to a concrete median wall.

I never pay attention to the exit numbers there so I can't tell you other than where the lanes merge from the airport exit to I-85 south.

Alright, well I looked on trapster and there is one trap there on the southbound side that is active lately. I assume that's where he was.

When I first saw him pointing it the gun looked like it had some blue on the side, but when I hit the brakes I got blocked out by other cars. What has blue maybe like your avatar although I'm not sure it was all blue?
