Valentine One 3.826 Freezing with Invisicord install
Hi guys. Small problem here. V1 froze about a year ago, I noticed it after I passed a Texas DPS Crown Vic sitting in the median with no alert. I tried to cycle the modes to see if the thing was actually awake and to my dismay, it was frozen.
I restarted the detector and all was well.
Lately, I got a little paranoid after I passed another trooper with no alert. Frozen again. I restarted and it resolved the problem. Later on that day, I randomly tested the V1 again, and it was frozen.
I called Tech Support at V1 and they told me to check the power cord. I reset the connection on the Invisicord I have installed, and it still failed some random freezing tests.
I now have the V1 connected conventionally through the stock coiled cord with no problems in about 10 hours of constant cross-country driving. Does anyone have any experience with these problems?

have you installed any new software or hardware [in your car, phone or garage] since your V-1 last functioned properly ??
you've apparently isolated the problem
your Invisicord is delivering dirty power; we just need to figure out why

No I don't believe so. Not sure why installing software would compromise power delivery?

I had a similar problem about 2 yrs ago but it was w/my stock cord. My teenage son spilled some soda right on the telephone jack portion of the cord where it was plugged in at the power plug. My V1 would lock up every time about 5-10 mins into operation. I R2 the plug/wire assy and problem went away and no issues since.
