Got a little worried today.
I was driving home from school, and got a weak Ka alert. The problem was, I seen a leo coming towards me for a good 20 seconds. My detector didn't alert until he was about 30 feet in front of me. I was thinking wow, I just received my V1 about a month ago, and this is happening. As I passed him, the arrow was still pointing forward. At this point, I'm really thinking wow, this isn't good at all. Come to find out, the alert was coming from another leo with his car parked about 1/2 of a mile down the road. I was obviously thinking my Valentine had already really screwed up on me, but thankfully, that wasn't the case. This has happened to me before, so I shouldn't have jumped to a conclusion, but I couldn't help but to worry about it at first.

This is why the arrows are SO useful!!!! It makes you aware of the situation

Yup,That is one great thing of the Vi.Even if you have other detectors, you can mute it and leave it just for the arrows.
Re: Got a little worried today.
The first officer probadly hit you with I/O which is killer so you really have to watch out for those. Nice save from the second officer that was there also and you really have to pay attention to something like that.

Ironically when i was reading this, I didnt even think about it possibly not working, the first thing that came to mind was "There must be another radar source further ahead". Yeah, don't doubt V1. heh

Yeah, it was just a weird situation. The road that I was on heads straight into a "town circle" kind of thing, with a courthouse in the middle. I could see the road all the way to the end, but there were no leos. The leo's car was actually sitting on the opposite side of the courthouse. The signal was just bouncing off all of the buildings and what not, kind of surprised me once I seen the car's positioning.
