Does it matter which side for Veil ?
I have a clear protector plate and I'm going to airbrush the veil. Doesn't matter if it's on the back or inside of the shield or does it have to be on the outside? I want to do it on the inside so it won't wear off from wear and tear. How do I know that I have enough coats on since the airbrush puts very light coats?
Re: Does it matter which side for Veil ?
if you put it on the inside the outside will still have reflectivity because the veil is not on it on the OUTSIDE

So what makes the difference of my clear plastic protector and car windshields when many laser detectors like the Valentine and Redline are behind your windshield? No one has said I should Veill my windshield. It's the reflectivity of the chrome inside the headlight and the reflectivity of the reflective paint on a license plate and light-colored cars which aren't clear having something for the light to bounce back from.

You need the Veil on the outside because that's where the laser hits first. It just makes no sense to put it on the inside.
With Veil:
Lidar ----> Veil (non reflective) - Plate cover
Without Veil:
Lidar ----> Plate cover (reflective) - Veil non reflective on the inside

Final confirmation from e-mail to Veil. It's not a matter of the plate cover reflective being plastic. Just matters how glossy the surface is.
Re: Does it matter which side for Veil ?
either way your reducing the IR reflection the point of veil

You're right. Outside it is.
