Wireless Mute Button for Steering Wheel?
Do they make some kind of wireless mute button where a transmitter piggy backs to the power connection on the detector? Then the wireless mute button uses a battery and sticks to the back of the steering wheel?
If not, why isn't there? Would this be possible to make?

I'm not aware of one specifically for RDs, but there are a ton of wireless remote key fobs with dry contact outputs which is all you really need to make one.
In general, RD remote mute buttons work by grounding one of the signals lines on the RJ-14 connector; all you need to do is wire the output of the key fob box to the right pins on the RD and you're good to go.

I would love to see a combined wireless "mute" AND "mark" button/fob developed to deal with the problem of reaching for the buttons on a high mounted direct-wired 9500ix (which many are from what I read here at the Forum). [Another hint for ESCORT developers]
