Strange alerting on GX65

So I recently got a GX65, and I've had some strange alerts on X and Ka band (not sure if it's related, but I haven't really seen the issue on K band). The detector will alert with the initial tones, and then not speak the band, after that, there is no audio, but the signal strength meter still works. I did not mute it, and I have automute off. It's happened about 3 or 4 times so far. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I have a feeling it's related to the voice functionality, so I've disabled that and will see if it makes any difference.

How fast were you driving? Below 20 it only gives a double beep, no other alert (only visual).

Wow, I'm an idiot, thanks for pointing this out. What's funny is that I sent a message to Beltronics about this and they told me it was broken and I should ship it in.

It also makes no difference if you have the GPS filter on or off. The 20 mph rule always applies.
