Re: Court orders speed camera jamming devices banned
Stop jamming to gun or from gun!
If you want to test your jammer find someone local with a lidar gun, you are ruining it for everyone , including yourself!

I guess all those car manufacturers that have "park assist" should also be banned since it is a similiar name. :p
Re: Court orders speed camera jamming devices banned
I never heard of a red light camera that uses laser - how exactly would that work?
The article also mentions "radar jamming device", but then talks about parking sensors. Something is missing in this story.

Where did they mention RLC? I looked at the article and I see nothing.

I mean "speed camera"... as in the title of the article. The article says "camera", which implies a stationary, unmanned device.... again it is not really clear.

I read some more articles on this. It looks like the Brits use the term "speed camera" where we use the term "laser gun".
When I see "speed camera", I think of the typical unmanned case used throughout Europe.

Sort of like "pants" vs "underwear", "pissed" vs "drunk".

Actually in some areas they do use a laser gun that has a camera installed with it as well. When someone is speeding they take a photo of the offending vehicle.
