"No Need 2 Speed" campaign NC
Noth Carolina Troopers as part of "Operation Slowdown" will be out in full force on NC Highways from Nov. 15th through Nov. 28 with their new "No Need 2 Speed" campaign. Primary focus will be speeding and wreckless driving but all violations in general. So if you happen to travel through this part of the country on your Thanksgiving travels be forewarned that extra attention to your speed and driving habits will be scrutinized.
Re: "No Need 2 Speed" campaign NC
LOL It never stops here. Starting on Nov 29 they will just start the next "Crackdown Operation". It is a never ending "Highway Safety" routine and revenue generator.
Re: "No Need 2 Speed" campaign NC
Yea North Carolina is a dump, the highway patrol is over barring and does these retarded speeding crackdowns every other day. I remember reading one article that a public safety spokesman said "People think they can get away with 9 over, they can't and will be ticketed.." Nice North Failolina. Some of the worst drivers I see always come from NC.

I am going from GA to WV on the week of Thanksgiving. Looks I will be getting some good RD video's.

This is pretty much year round for NC, I'm a native and even I hate driving in most parts of North Cackylacky. Heck, most towns are called / named "SPEEDERS GET BONED HERE VILLE"
Re: "No Need 2 Speed" campaign NC
I guess they will dust off the laser guns so watch the bridges if you drive in the western part of the state!
Re: "No Need 2 Speed" campaign NC
hah my dad and i drove down to myrtle beach and crossed through north carolina about a year ago and my dad got nailed by NC Highway patrol with 78 in a 65 :( It was his first in over 7 years....
that was the reasoning for getting his RX65 though
