Question for New Jersey Drivers
I have two LI heads sitting in the trunk of my car, waiting to be installed on the rear of my car. I have two up front already. Here's my dilemma. It's a pain in the ass to take off the rear taillights on my car, and the way I want to mount it, will require removal of taillights. TBH, I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to get them on there anyway with the provided brackets. Guess I'll find out soon enough. Anyway, with my schedule right now, I just dont' have the time to invest in doing the install, and I'd rather do it myself than get it done by a "pro". Plus, with the weather on top of my schedule, I just dont know when I'll be able to do it. Here's my question for you NJ guys. Have any of you or anyone you know been shot in the rear in NJ? I'm thinking of putting two extra heads up front, to make it a four sensor front setup. Perhaps I'll remove them and add them again in the rear when spring comes around. All I need to know bascially is how often do NJ Leo's, particularly NJSP target the rear of vehicles? Thanks guys.
Re: Question for New Jersey Drivers
NJSP are very sneaky. Install the two heads in the rear.
Re: Question for New Jersey Drivers
Dunno if it was you or someone else, someone asked the same question a few days ago.
Yes, NJSP shoot the rear of the car.
Ask RadarRob and a few others who are in NJ
Re: Question for New Jersey Drivers
Solidjake, I remember u recommending someone that does installs. Can I get that info again please?
Re: Question for New Jersey Drivers
I don't recall any installers. Most shops don't install them the "proper" way. I'd just install it myself

See thats my issue. Looking at the taillights on my trunk, its gonna be a HUGE pain in the ass. I cant even see the bolts that keep the lights there... Trying to find DIY instructions on how to take tail lights off, but cant find any on the internet.
Re: Question for New Jersey Drivers
NJSP definitely shoot you in the gashole. I'd say it's a 60/40 ratio to frontal and rear assaults.
