What do you guys think about install locations
Guys, for this car I made a few markings. Tell me what you think
Front
1>Being Highest in the grill but sorta right next to the lights
2>Lower down in the grill but right next to that huge ass reflective VW emblem
3>All the way down underneath the plate

Back
1>I dunno where else they could possibly mount but there, any suggestions

Right below the yellow spot closest to the headlights is where I ended up putting mine - middle slot in the grille. Bubbles outermost. His aim is not going to be rock steady - nobody is at a moving target.
They usually aim at your headlights (prior to moving mine there I am pretty sure that I was shot at least once by a LEO without it triggering the jamming sequence).
If a front plate is not being enforced in your state remove it.

Cliff,
Are you saying spot 1 or 2. The issue I think with this is there just gonna sorta be sticking out there and I worry about theft? In my state I have no front plate so Im assuming there gonna go after the grill or the headlight. If they shot the back wouldnt they be shooting the plate. Let me know what you think 1 or 2

The plate is not the problem. Your taillights are the most reflective part of the vehicle. As such, the sensors should be mounted as close to them as possible. See the PICS of the install on my old C55. As to theft, it's possible but unlikely.

Ahhh I see what your talking about. Cool I'll see how tight the lights are in there and if I can squeeze the wires through. Was it tough to get the wires through, I mean those lights are usually real flush as not to get water in

Remove the lenses. Install the brackets and the wires for the sensor under the lens and reinstall. The fit will be snug but can be done.

^ Horrible information and advice, all the way around. This person doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. Ignore him.
