Re: How much is too much?
I started w/ an M47 on my 2004 Subaru. 2 up front, 2 on the rear. I posted some picks and was shown ideal placement for my car and put them there. Never had an issue. Kept reading posts on testing results and then put an M47 on the front w/ an M27 on the rear. Still, no issues. Kept reading posts on here and now have a LI dual on the front w/ an M27 on the rear. Still, no issues. Whatever you decide to go with, you need to test to know for sure. Look to see how your locals tag you. Are they on bridges, extremely off axis, sitting in the parking lane, etc... Test accordingly. Some of the hardcore members want to be safe from every possible angle and shot that they may experience to not have to worry about a PT happening. This is where you will start to see placement photos not parallel to the road to cover off axis shots. It all depends on how safe you want to be and how much you are willing to pay to play. Speeddemon is right on about placement. One of the reasons that I prefer the LI's is the size. I still wonder if my M47 up front gave me better protection than the 2 LI's I have now, but my dumb ass never tested.

Because there is no straight answer. It's like someone saying that audi's are better than BMW's and vice versa...it's preference, opinion which all yield through research and which one is "right for you". I'll tell you right now that Laser Interceptors are the best jammers and most convenient. on the market, period; that is a fact. And testing shows that LI's perform the best. If you want to get blinder's or ZR4's, the knock yourself out. When I first got jammers, I read that LI's were the best...and when I purchase things I get the best-- thus my purchase of LI's. Do what you want, we're not here to make decisions for you.
Re: How much is too much?
Several observations:
1. There are no perfect systems. There is always room for improvement in any hardware. (personal preference can also be a factor)
2. There are no perfect installations. It could always be installed just a bit better in some way.
3. Your choice may depend to some extent on which guns you are likely to encounter in the area you drive.
4. Return on investment is a factor. You want to spend the least possible to achieve the desired result.
5. Common sense still applies. Drive as though you are a big target and expect to get shot around every curve.
6. Try to make friends with the local guys with the speed guns. They can help you make good choices and improve your installation.
7. Assign a high value to service and advice after the sale. Cliff, with LI, sets the standard for the other guys to live up to.

+1. Absolute truth.
Re: How much is too much?
You should only consider LI or blinder. On a small car either li daul or blinder m27 without veil will do just fine.
