Both times the Redline was silent. Now to let you know, the Redline is mounted high next to the RVM and I have a black car. Do you think this is why it did not alert?
Thanks!
Laser is a very slim beam and LEO's target license plates, headlights, etc. and since your redline is mounted high, it is very unlikely the redline will alert to laser unless it picks up a laser scatter from another car being targeted. I would definitely look into getting a laser jammer.
Re: Redline and Laser hits
Like tpalmer87 says Laser is hard to detect (unlike Radar) also maybe the LEO was not targeting you, and maybe the car next to you?
it's hard to tell with cars all around you. I see LEO's all day shooting Lidar I also never get alarms, unless the Lidar beam is right on my windshield.
Getting Laser Alarms on a daily basis is rare (unlike the 34.700 KA band ) alarms I get 4-5 times a day.
Good luck & drive safe
Re: Redline and Laser hits
Happened to me also. If you watch my video, its not the greatest but you can hear the LI's go off and the RL is silent.

Great post.
Re: Redline and Laser hits
When I had my LI's installed, the tester was so accurate, the RL never went off! Only sloppy LIDAR shots will result in a laser alert if the detector is mounted up high.

Re: Redline and Laser hits
When the LEO hit my car that night, my Redline was down low and not mounted high. He hit me with a PL3, LI's Jammed, but no noise from the Redline
Re: Redline and Laser hits
Buy jammer's my guess is he clocked you and wasn't over his limit
Re: Redline and Laser hits
My Redline is so good at detecting laser that it goes ahead and alerts to it even though I have the laser detection option turned off...
