They are doing an internal investigation:confused:... No worries, I am sure they will soon make a statement that there is no policy specifically against sleeping while on duty... Right :p

I mean right here another Police Dept. said they have no policy against an officer drinking and driving a patrol car while off duty http://www.ksdk.com/news/article/274...ing-patrol-car, so (logically) sleeping shouldn't be a problem. Besides, internal investigations NEVER finds any wrongdoing.

Oh, wait. If she was asleep, that would hurt their cash flow... Yup, she will probably get fired... but if they beat or tazer a retard who is complying with orders, well that would be an all together different circumstance with some mitigating factors allowing the officers to keep their jobs.

Officers sleeping on night shifts = Happens ALL THE TIME.

I see the department investing in some tinted windows very soon. :p

Okay, it's funny. Personally, I wish they would sleep on the job when doing traffic enforcement. It would be neat to dare your friend i.e. "I will give you any X-Box game of your choice if you drive by at PSL + 30..." Meanwhile the V1 is alerting to full signal and you can see the cops eyes glazed over as you pass.

Now, that would be cool!

NY staties do it all the time. And when they are not doing that, they are on their dash laptop or personal cell phone on traffic enforcement.
