Hey all,
I'm interested in picking up either a V1 or an Redline. I've done my homework so I know there both great RDs however I'm leaning towards the V1 since it has the arrows. It's also better at picking laser, but I know that doesn't help since its too late when you get tagged. Which one of the two to do you guys think is better at picking up I/O?

I/O probably V1 but the redline's range is absurd and off axis is amazing.

Another factor in your purchasing decision is if you use a iPhone or Android smartphone. RedLine is compatible with our new Escort Live smartphone app which, when wirelessly linked to your smartphone, will offer you the following features:

Personally, I won't take a chance on any delay for I/O. Too many saves because of the quick reaction time of the V1. And the good brakes on my motorcycle. :)
Either one is an excellent choice!
Where are you located? Are there I/O threats in your area? Is the area you commute to/from usually smooth and straight, or rough and hilly? These are some questions to keep in mind about the two detectors. Laser cannot be detected and will not save you. You will need jammers. The chances of picking up lidar with the V1 or any RD is likely the chances of winning the lotto. The V1 and RedLine are both high-end detectors and both should do you just fine. Even with I/O, the V1 cannot save you from it, but a rabbit would.
