Bad Connection to sensor on Dual LI Install
I installed my dual LI today in my truck and I’m getting an error stating that the connection to sensor 2 is bad….so to troubleshoot, here’s what I did:
1. I disconnected and reconnected the sensor at the LI module to make sure it was solid. Same error.
2. I swapped the 1 and 2 plugs at the module and it then tells me there’s a bad connection on sensor 1.
3. I swapped the connections at the sensor end, still tells me there’s a bad connection at sensor 1.
With that being said I’ve come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the long cable going from the LI unit to the sensor plug; i.e. it’s not the sensor or a problem with the LI module.
I ran my hands along the entire length of the wire and it seemed fine everywhere. No kinks, scuff marks, etc. I was rather gentle while installing it also. I had no problems with the quad system on the car, but I believe I received a damaged cable on with this dual unit.
Will I need to get a replacement cable? Or could something else be wrong?

Hi Jesse,
Feel free to call our Technical Support number 352-688-0708 to troubleshoot. It seems as if your CPU to Mini DIN Cable may have been damaged during the install.
