My unit is about 3 years old it is receive GPS signals less than 75% of the time lately. It seems to have gotten worse. I called Escort awhile back and they suggested updating my software, which i did. So do these things go bad? I know all electronics do. I am sure Escort will sell just the GPS module if I need one (which sounds like I do). Any experience with this? Any estimate for one of these? I keep forgetting to call escort during business hours to ind out. Thanks for any help.
I'm sorry to hear this. I would try updating the software first for sure. If you had your system installed then I advise having the installer service your system. If you installed it. We offer the GPS module and cable for $199. Please call us to order one at the number in my signature below.

Yes I updated the software - no help and still works sometimes and not others. I called Escort yesterday and the rep I talked to suggested a 49.99 repair (which was essentially all the parts replaced or overhauled it sounded like). I just need to get down to uninstalling it... Thanks,
