More like the old old old man on the block who is looking for one more fight in the ring. Mike V is getting up in age and looks skinny himself. Did the old fart pull one off? Testing in due time will find the pros and cons.
V1 Gen 2 on Viagra? It boasts new fangled military tech, and a bullet proof case. Maybe they think you might have cause to shoot it? Joking aside, I wonder how the case material might alter performance?

I think the case material is to keep the RF issues down. One has to give Mike V credit, he can not be second which drives him to good and make a great product. He is one of the good guys!
Calling MV an olde fart is a bit harsh, dontcha think ?
As far as new Military Tech - early Testing seems to indicate the "Tech" certainly is in need of some refinement, eh ?

Great question. My first detector was a Tandy all metal case sensors looked forward only. All my Uniden are plastic cases that un-obstruct 360' performance. A magnesium case makes me wonder about 360' detection. Besides that, the case is very expensive. Why?Quote:
