My Laser Pro Park has just arrived this morning, I can't seem to find a 12V and a ground (not in car's user manual) on my 2001 Camry. Sorry, I don't know anything about the electrical system of a car.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

You wanna tap into the idnition wire with the Pos + and the Neg find clean Metal behind a bolt or screw and that is were the Ground goes -
If you dont know were the ignition wire is you can slide it behind the ignition Fuse in your fuse box and puch the Fuse back in to hold it inplace....Only thing that can happen with this is it may spark if its not in there good.
This way you can leave the system on and when you start you car it Comes on without switching it on.
if you dont know anything about the electrical system, i suggest you get a Autoelec to do it for you...a fried AL wouldnt be much use for you ;)
If you do want to do it yourself, find the ACC wire (you can tap into the radio, fusebox, ignition or cigar lighter) the way you will find this is using a test light or multimeter just clip one end to the earth and prob the wires with the ignition on acc once you find a light turn the key off and if the light goes off you have ACC power, this is the wire to tap.
If you can get the stereo out then this will be the easiest power scorce to tap into.
Just earth the unit to a bolt that is in the chassis.
Oh and I strongly suggest to put an inline fuse into the + line, this will save against any surge or short.
Good Luck...dont fry it.
Stalker has good advice here.
If you don't know squat about the electrical system, find a stereo shop locally.
Or go to Radio shack and get a cigarette plug with leads and a VOLT METER so you can figure out which one is + and the other would be ( - ) "negative" or ground.............
at least this way you Could temporarily install it and unplug it.
(Not the best set up .................. I'd say the power would get interupted from bumps in the road etc........)

I checked with a performance shop but they refused to do the installation claiming that the jammer head will rattle because the sensor head and the mounting bracket are both too heavy. Is this true? Any AL6.5 users have experienced problems keeping the jammer head in place going over bumps and such?
I will post some pics after I get the kit installed on Wednesday.

maybee make up your own bracket and have it mounted hard against the car, rather than in a bracket... sorta like how my PM is mounted;
