I'm trying to install a Valentine One in my Audi A6 2005, and I want to connect it on a +12V wire from the internal lighting.
But I don't know wich wire to use ...

I want it to work even when the light is switched off (doors closed) ! :wink:
Why not make it very easy on yourself and just tap into the +12V from the cigarette lighter outlet? Seems as if you are overly complicating the install. You can also tap directly into your fuse box for an ignition switched power source. Radio Shack sells fuse taps for exactly this purpose.

On BMW's the 12v wire that is only active when the car is on, is a green wire with white stripe. Not sure about the Audi though, might be the same.

Be careful though, just because it works on the BMW doesn't neccessarily mean it will work on the Audi. You might want to consult your dealer b4 hand as well.Quote:
