Noob questions about the V1
Hey guys a few questions. I currently own a Bel RX65 and am considering upgrading to either the 9500i or the V1.
I am wondering if the V1 has the ability to detect multiple bans of K / Ka, etc like the X50 does in threat mode.
How accurate are the arrows? I have a convertible would the rear detection benefit me vs a hardtop? (I know this is obvious, but I'm curious if anyone has experience with this.)
Does it come with a PC cable (USB, serial, etc.) for upgrades or is shipping it back the only option?
I'm sure I'll think of more, thanks for putting up with a V1 nub.

Yes the V1 can show multiple bands/bogie's however it shows it by LED dot rather than the band and strength meter. Arrows are fine, they can be erratic at times with multiple bands but its usually right on, in a hard top or not.
I personally love my 9500I but the V1 certainly is an awesome option.

1. yes.
2. very good.
3. there isn't any RD out there that you can upgrade it with out sending it in.
The V1 has the best detection range!

Yes it can detect multiple bands.
The V1 indicates the presence of X, K, Ka and it has a "bogey" counter that indicates the number of sources 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... etc
The arrows are very accurate, the only time the arrows might get confused is if you side by side with the source, or close proximity with lots of reflection in from the surronding area. Other wise if th eV1 says it from the front or rea or BOTH you can trust the arrows (I have another arrow experience to write about in the real experience section later on). Works well in any car.
