ENRADD again. Just like everywhere else lately.
Might as well count on Enradd all over!~
Well it will be interesting is they keep buying these things if the state approves Radar/LIDAR use for locals. YIS sell these things for $2000 and it cost them less then $100 to make it. Considering you can get a Radar/LIDAR unit for less money I wonder if they will drop the price.
A large number of local police will still use VASCAR because its the cheapest solution.Quote:

VASCAR may still be around in limited amounts just because in heavy traffic you are able to pick out one car. Radar guns are "stupid" and can not give the speed of one car in a close group of cars.
actually the reason i think they might stay around is for the fact the way the new law is being written the police have to be in plain sight when operating the RADAR/LIDAR units, unlike the state police now where they can hide from your sight, they can even nail you form behind as you pass them.
No such restriction exist for the ENRADD/VASCAR/Stopwatches.
Considering the nature of PA roads it would be hard for local cops to stand out in the open and operation a RADAR/LIDAR, by the mere nature of the roads the cops will be force to hid somewhat. I see interesting court battles coming if the locals get this equipment.
