I guess its time that all GX-65 owners start calling Beltronics and ask when they are getting our camera location updates. I just got off the phone with them......again.......and they still have no answer. I dont know if they just dont GAF or what. This is starting to piss me off, since we have about 20+ "new" cameras here that are not on the unit.
I urge all owners to call Bel (866-468-0322) and ask what the holdup is about. Maybe if some people call, they will get the hint. It cant be that hard for them, they already have it on another belscort product.:rolleyes:

I have never been a huge fan of Bel Products... (yes, yes I know they are the same company blahh blahhh...) but I feel Escort is certainly the company to go with in that company.
The only products I 'push' of Bel are the Vector series, great (normally problem free) detectors for the average user... and rarely the STI.
But from a CS standpoint, I just don't think they are even.
The problem here isn't only their CS, but overextending themselves (Belscort as a whole) by doing useless ports between Bel/Escort (+/- a few features).
If I didn't buy the radar detector the first time you guys put it on the market, I sure as heck don't want it the second time, with a different name and color scheme (+/-) a few features for the second time! :rolleyes:
I think people who own the RD should call and demand action...

I completely agree with you airmoore, they may be the same company as a whole but escort seems to be thier main concern which is why i went with the 9500ix rather than the GX65. Adive for future potential GX65 buyers, DONT !!! Just buy the 9500ix and avoid this problem all together. :bs::bs::bs::bs:

It appears Bel is trying to do the right thing, though I cannot imagine how you can botch a 'port'... its been done before I guess.
At least there is some good news, and it seems to be positive (other then the waiting).

I got the same email.
Maybe all the times I called them finally got a fire lit under their azz. I was less than pleasant on the last call :p , but I have just had it. Maybe some others called in and they realized its time to at least keep us informed that they know there is a problem.:o
