Connecticut State Police Vipers
The CTSP have acquired at least 4 Dodge Vipers for traffic enforcement duties in and around the Hartford area. So basically if you're on I-91 south of Hartford, I-84 east or west of Hartford, I-384, or the infamous Rt2 near the capitol area, watch out. The confirmed colors so far are candy red, blue, gray, and white. Likely weapons of choice are probably TruSpeeds or LRBs. No radar. I'll snap pics when I run in to them.
Drive Safe!!:)

Your tax dollars at work.
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
I like exotic police cars. More power to them and you tax payers in Connecticut paying for them. :D
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
now thats a car u dont wanna get in a high speed pursuit in
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
That's a lot of money for those cars. And you know the cops will smash them up:D
Wilkes Barre City gets new cars and half of them have dents or bumpers smashed in.
and they aren't even 6 months old:eek:
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
I would love to see them jump the medians and screw there vipers up. :D Sometimes confiscated cars are police property and they can turn any car into a
unmarked.
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
wadda a friggin' waste
Re: Connecticut State Police Vipers
With the way the economy is, I'm sure Dodge was enthusiastic to sell a few cars.
CT should have gotten them pretty cheap, but I'm sure Dodge took as much of CT's money as they could get.

I'm sure only top scores on the pursuit driving test will get into these. DPS actually did pretty well with they're Camaro pursuit cars after ragging out the Mustangs. The troopers discovered they might actually have to drive them really fast some day, so they were more careful how they drove them.
