Just got my 1st radar detector. Ordered the V1 3.872 based on a recommendation from one of my good friends. Was browsing the web looking for info on radar detectors and came across this forum. I figure it contains a wealth of information so I signed up!

Good choice on the V1 Guys. The 3.872 rocks. For jammers i would recommend either the LI or the Blinders. Read the FAQ's in the laser jammer section.Quote:

To answer some questions: I currently live in Pensacola and will be moving up to Washington St. in 2 weeks. That's one of the main reasons I got the V1, for my drive across country. I own a 2010 Subaru Outback, and had the V1 mounted yesterday below my rear view mirror and hardwired up into my seat lights above the RVM.
As far as laser goes, I wasn't too sure about what to order so any recommendations would be welcome. Thanks everyone!!
