My 1st Blinder M47 save!!!
I was at +15 over PSL on the Coast Hwy in Long Beach when I was jolted out of my seat with my 9500ix screaming at full volume and the M47 also buzzing in concert. It really startled me because the 9500ix seldom makes noise and the laser warning tone is something I have not heard in months. I was the lead car so I figured I was being targeted and immediatly braked hard to the PSL of 40 and shut off the M47. I could not see any LEO and thought maybe it was a false alarm. Then about 200 yards down the road I spotted the motorcycle cop hidden in a driveway pointing the gun in my direction.
I am so glad now I got the jammer. I was just starting to wonder if I did the right thing in buying it because of no hits. But today it paid off. Those motorcycle cops seldom give anyone a break. It was a very good feeling when I passed him and he was clueless to my initial speed.
Re: My 1st Blinder M47 save!!!
I had a slightly less dramatic save a couple of weeks ago (before I got my setup fixed).
I was doing 85 in a 65 about 1/4 from exiting a turn. I was in the left lane and in the process of switching back into the center lane when the alarm sounded. There was a big truck behind me in the center lane, so I was being very careful not to get rear ended. In fact, I was so worried about that truck that I forgot to turn of the Blinder.
The LEO did eventually get a punch through and stopped painting me, so he must have got a PT. I easily had enough time (it seemed like a lot longer at the time). Now that I got my setup all fixed, I'm thinking I should put it back on the 7.5 second cutoff.
Congrats on your first save

Congrats on your first JTK! If I'm not mistaken you did an awesome job painting your grille and blending everything together to make your setup very stealth. Any more photos of your vehicle?

Yeah, I remember that too. It was pretty awesome! I intend to make something similar when I get rear parking aids... :D:D
