Hey guys I'm going to purchase a Valentine One soon and wanted to buy a returned unit from VR to save some money. Does anybody have any experience with doing this, if so how do you do it and are you impressed with buying your unit used.

Good to see somebody going to buy a V1 from VR and not from ebay...
Call them up and ask if they have any in stock.
This is what I did about a year ago. I've been very pleased with my returned V1. You can't tell a returned V1 from a brand new one.. Except for price.
Yeah I don't trust eBay or Craigslist because a V1 from them could be stolen or broken. Not to mention the fact that they usually charge more for V1's on eBay.Quote:

I bought one and it is great. It had the latest firmware at the time and came with the same warranty. Just get a 10% discount. Go ahead and get it and save yourself $40. Nothing wrong with getting the refurbs directly from V1.

you are probably in line behind me :) I'm waiting for one to get returned. It's a bday present for my girlfriend. they also have used concealed displays for 10 percent off as well.
