Bel E795 Users Poll

What is your verdict?? Bel E795 poll ratings are falling faster than the President's!! Whoops it took last place at GOL?? I can hear it now "We demand a rematch, QC issues, no other cars on the road to watch for brakelites, the filtering is superb, I never get falses but I do get tickets, and 1/4 the range for 1/4 the price and twice the tickets". Oh no, the gun was not pointed directly at the antenna like in real life, foul , foul! Breaking news, the Bel E795 will not detect POP or anything else!!

man the bel express is very good rd for the money and YES! i would bye one again why not they are cheap and they work very good. man if i sold mine i would have to sell it for $150 and no THIS IS NO JOKE $150!! :wink:

I feel the exact same way about this detector... I bought it just for testing for this website after it won the under 100 shoot-out (as many know) and it has given me solid detections (for being 100bucks... and $80 at one point in December).

I drove around with the 795 for about a week, and it definitely has better filtering than the other detectors under $100. I think this is the best detector (brand new) for under $100.

Yeah, and it also won the $100 dollar shootout... I dnk where the link to that went that I had.... honestly though I guess we can wait for GOL testing with Boomermans E795 see what comes of that.

(I also got the impression from Boomermans posts (on this site) of the 795 vs the Pro58 that it was a decent one for under 100 bucks.)

Took it to New Orleans recently. Across the 24 mile toll bridge it picked up radar 3/4 to a mile ahead. The LEO's usually sit in the crossovers. I wasn't speeding but knew that it would be a good test for it. For the money it will help keep you out of trouble. I feel 50% better about not getting a ticket with it with me. When I get one of the big boys that will raise up to 90%.

Not impressed at all. Everyone seems to think it has good filtering capabilities. I say it's just flat out blind. During my tests, the E795 gave very little warning to real police radar and did not false at all at the local CVS etc.. It did however false when I drove into the CVS parking lot. I say it is a dud.

Well GOL is using my 795 for their test this weekend. This should help answer some of these questions as to how well it works.

How about it GOL??
