So I have been getting strong K band at a particular point along the interstate that I travel 3 times a week and I started getting a secondary K band hit in a area where I typically only get one. I have my V1 programmed to silence out the drones here in OH and lately, According to the arrows, it seems to be coming from one of those sign trailers used by construction crews to alert people to traffic pattern changes....do these have some type of radar? anyone else experience this?

That would be interesting, My old detector supposedly had this and never alerted once to these! makes ya wonder though. I can't really see why these would need radar for anything....unless its some remote way of changing what the sign reads somehowQuote:

OP, another thought. Do you have another RD besides your V1 with SWS? If so, and when you know you will be going through that construction zone, run with it to find out. SWS is still around, but not widely used.
I did tests before against every K band construcion sign with SWS on 99.9 percent of these signs you will find are just plain K band drones.Quote:
