I haven't had my 985 apart for awhile but that speaker does look familiar to me too! When I first got mine, it sounded fuzzy. I hit it a few times near the speaker and it's been fine ever since. :lol:
I never run mine at full volume. "7" is loud enough for me.

How did your tests of the replacement speakers end up? I have a Bel 960 that probably needs to have its speaker replaced. At full volume its barely audible. Could I purchase a speaker from you?

How did the speakers work? My RX-55 speaker is blown, earphone works fine.

That's interesting Mem-tek. I need to replace the speaker on the inside of my 995 too. It's just not loud enough.

It might work while using it in my car, but it might not work so well while using it in the semi.
