A cop is actually using a bushnell???????????????
Read: Enforcing bike speeds does not bring in nearly the revenue of automobile speed enforcement.Quote:
"Right now our officers are out on the streets fighting crime and I would have a tough time justifying additional police officers for bike speed enforcement."
can you imagine going to court to contest a speeding ticket on a bike?
i can see it, a flurry of patent filings for bicycle radar detectors and laser jammers.. powered off a 12v generator on your rear wheel..
what do you guys recommend? single or dual head setup?
So if you see a cop do you slam on the brakes or what
I guess this is when the Solo 2 comes in handy
OMG. The cyclists were averaging 17 mph :o :o
Time to call out the State police and really crack down on those wreckless driving a$$holes.
J/
Maybe they'll even get some BUI or BWI's
does he get sirens and lights with that?
if you're in a road bike.. just drop it down a gear or two and outrun him. most likely he'll be on foot
Actually, I think I have heard of that. But I think they just give them Public drunkenness.Quote:

Yes it does. I posted a story about a year ago in Ohio "I think" where they were clocking speeding bikers on a bike path. It's ridiculous!!!Quote:

Actually, I don't know if I would go with a Solo. The Bushnells are I/O, which the Solo doesn't do too well against.
A Whistler Pro 58 should work well. That is until other bikers start using Cobras. The Pro 58 will alert to all those suckers
Haha luckily cobra doesn't make a wireless detector (yet). Or do they?
