I'm getting kind of sick of this stupid Cadillac CTS ad.
Sorry dumbass Caddy lady, but that 5-series is comes with a V-8 and would leave your senior citizen cruiser in the dust. Hell, even if it's the I-6 version, it's still got the same horsepower and upwards of 25 pound feet more torque, at HALF the RPMs...all with 600cc's less than your engine :lol:
BMW > Cadillac
I can't open it IT blocked it but I would love to own one!!
The CTS is a nice car but they've priced outside it's market. Sell in for 27k and they might have something.

I got it. Front engine runs the front wheels, trunk engine drives the rear wheels.
You get two different pedals for both engines, or you could get something boring like computer managed traction control system.

And the ad isn't about the CTS being cheap. It's about portraying the Caddy as somehow outperforming the Bimmer, which is just silly.

The LTZ is just a Malibu with the CTS engine crammed in there, and then made EVEN CRAPPIER than it already was by detuning it by another 50 horsepower. A 3.6L V6 generating 250 horsepower is pretty lame. I mean I guess if you give a small car a 250 horsepower engine, it'll probably manage 0-60 times in the 6 second range, but in this case it's still a Malibu, just with a monstrous chunk of metal out in front.
Ugh. There are few cars I loathe as much as the Chevy Malibu.

What it comes down to is German autobahn engineering vs. the outdated American brute force approach. Don't get me wrong, the CTS-V is one heck of a machine, I've driven the previous model and it was pretty dang fast for a Cadillac. The BMW just has that level of refinement and european flare that the Caddy doesnt. If it was between a used M5 or a new CTS-V, I would take the Bimmer- but thats just me. But the big question "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?" Thats for ya'll to decide.
