Any tips for the ride to Atlantic city NJ? I’m driving with my 9500I and am aware of X being a problem in NJ. C/O used allot or I/O. Normally i drive through NJ and see nothing but my buddy went today and saw 3 X band LEO's.

Staties will hide in the median and off to the side of the road esp. behind bushes, tress ect. For the turnpike at night they will sit dead middle of the concrete median in emergency vehicle only turnaround. They will use IO X most of the time. The locals it is mixed lots of Ka. As for Laser it is still rare except for the Staties, but still rare even with them. If you get hit with Laser let me know.
went to maryland last month traveled all through jersey. only got constant on x band alerts.
NJ is the only state where they purposely cut down trees so cops can slide into the spot. I've encountered laser, x & ka. Just be careful they use those digital speed signs and will drop the speed for no reason, and the exits can catch you off guard with all the traffic.
I was on my way back form an all night bachelor party in NJ and nearing the end of my 3 hour drive near the GW. I was going about 80 and bam my 9500I goes off Laser! I jam on the breaks to slow to everyone’s speed and just a few seconds later I saw 2 LEO's with customers.
I wasn’t able to see the shooter but i had just passed under a bridge after i got the laser hit. possibly a reflection off someone?
My guess is it wasn’t a complete save because the other LEO's had customers however if I didn’t slow down im sure they would of sent someone.
funny thing was i didn't get a single x band alert ether way.
how was it.. i was born in AC!
I am not surprised, Laser is used more towards North NJ, and NY state. By the way did you see if they were NJ state troopers? or NY cops?Quote:

NJSP are very good at using their radar. I frequently see them parked in the medians and get no alerts at all. CJR, if you were travelling with a pack of cars, they most likely would not have radared you. They like to selectively target individual speeders with thier radar or use laser.

I made sure i was ether with a pack or slowly catching up to one. Everyone seems to do 80 in NJ. Most of my ride was the GSP and some of 95.
yea...u would encounter pretty much all laser..on 95 people cruise at 95..thats why its called 95 ;)
The Garden State Parkway is littered with State Police. There are sections of the road way where the speed limit drops drastically yet unecessarily. You can't get pulled over as a result of those speed signs. At the POIfactory web site you download known speedtrap locations of the GSP,turnpike, 95, 295 and other main NJ highway roads.
