Even a new Porsche is pushing it, but you could get away with it. Among the German cars, you really have two options...a VW R32 (which honestly needs a turbocharger to realize it's full potential, but then becomes, VERY literally, a miniature RS4...same AWD system, same engine placement, slightly smaller displacement, two fewer doors) or an air-cooled 911. If you want a German car and you care about it being "appropriate", you need a 993 or a 964 Turbo.
I still think you should have stuck with Starla. She was perfect for you.
The question is, are you willing to go with something other than a car you buy off the showroom floor and drive away as-is? What are you opinions on buying used vs buying new and then modifying...or for a Mk4 VW R32 (which honestly is a better car than the current Mk5), modifying a used car?
