You have a 350Z and you drove the Tail of the Dragon in WHAT?

Well, looks like he's a smart RD user at least. :) I actually like those cars. The looks anyway.
...And sometimes, just lucky.

we made the trip twice..... may of 07 and may of 08. we won't be going back anytime soon. after you do it a few times, no point.. plus there are way too many bikes there as well as state police. both trips, zero tickets with the valentine one.
the problem with the dragon and that area is that there is NOTHING to do. you can go whitewater rafting and hike around if you like the outdoors.. we drove up to asheville NC and saw the biltmore estate which was an all day event... other than that, there is nothing around there except to drive around the smokey mountains. oh, bring your own beer. majority of the counties are dry; wine only.
i recommend everyone take a roadtrip to the dragon. this year we had 9 cars in our caravan. last year we stayed in Robinsville, and this year we stayed in Andrews. we might go back out there in 3 or 4 years.
