Bel Sti.. I know this looks little ghetto but...

I went to Joann Fabrics and bought a yard of the same color cloth that matches my interior. It looks little ghetto but I'm still in trial and error for achieving best stealthness. If I made someone laugh on this, that alone made my day today.

Stay tuned for my next trial which will be thin plastic box which will house the STi with same color interior spray paint.

Living in a state where RD is not allowed is why I'm doing what I'm doing. At least with cloth, it does stick out like a sore thumb oppose to box being BLACK!

Just looks like a ghetto version of the visor mount that used to be sold online at radarbusters except now they only sell it in tan for $20.

Sharky, I got that visor from radarbusters.com. It is made way too lose and too obvious. At least this cloth is exact color of my interior and with windows tinted at 50VAT, it may work. Of course I'll still need more work on edges and etc.

By loose do you mean the actual pocket that the detector goes into or the actual visor cover itself? The only thing I dislike about the visor cover is that I think I lose some sensitivity due to my visor pointing slightly down when it is up all the way. If I go on a road trip though I usually take the visor down some and level the detector out if that makes any sense. I'd say keep up the work and you can definitely come up with something that the cops/thieves won't notice hanging in your window.

Why don't you just mount it to the visor and make it look like a garage remote?

X2, I see what you are trying to do. That one still can be seen but if you keep messing around you may blend it it good. Maybee try to make it look like an overhead console. :thumb2:
