i think i like this better http://img4.pictiger.com/22f/16655979.jpg?u=1220486179
is it just me or is your passenger side head pointing toward the sky almost?
also the bubbles should toward the outside of your car (you have the heads flipped the wrong way)
Re: Feedback on LI Install
I would move them further outboard to that slot under the light if possible and then rotate the sensors so that the bubbles are outboard as well. Since youre not running a front plate, I would get those sensors as close to the headlights as possible.
Re: Feedback on LI Install
Agreed. If they'll fit in those outboard slots, that would be better. But if not, I think you'll do just fine with them in the current locations, so long as you flip the bubbles out.
Those new generation wrap around headlights are going to be your achilles heel. I'd go with a layer of Veil on them to give you an extra measure of protection against the common off-axis shot. It'll look good on that black car.

Do you mean Traffipatrol XR? That's the alert commonly heard when you have an Infinity coming at you.
Re: Feedback on LI Install
Yes, I agree. Get those heads closer to the headlights and the one on the right needs to be leveled out.
Re: Feedback on LI Install
Minimumly move the bubbles to be on the outside.
If possible move the heads to the outer slots

Do get your setup tested... You might get away with bubbles in...

Re: Feedback on LI Install
My LI did the same thing when one of the heads was defective. It would constantly alert to Traffipatrol XR.
Re: Feedback on LI Install
One of my heads did that to, it was the sun causing it. Cliff sent me a new head and all was good.
If you take a regular incandescent flashlight and shine it into the receiver bubble at night you should get a sun interference alert. A LED flashlight does not work. This might help you narrow it down to which head is bad (not giving a SIA).
Re: Feedback on LI Install
I used to get "Rigel, Jamming sequence is activated ......". I started getting this error 2nd day of the install. I disconnected on head at a time and drove for a day. I found out that one of the heads in the back was defective. Cliff sent me another one but turns out that the cable was too short and they had to make a custome made (LONG cable for me). It took couple of weeks but I got the head few days ago. I am going to install it next week.
I think you should start disconnecting one head at a time and find out which head is bad.

A good way to check heads is using an IR camera and check if they fire, or if you see moisture in them.
Re: Feedback on LI Install
thanks :P I am def going to try out those solutions to see which one of the heads are defective.
