Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
hey, im wondering if the blinder heads are compatible with the cheetah wireless kit. I like the idea of the cheetah wireless kit. The probable deciding factor between the Blinder m-27 and the Laser Pro Park will probably be compatibility with the cheetah wireless kit. I like the blinder laser jammers because they seem to have less bugs than the LPP (i.e. Truspeed problems and laser atlanta problems). any info is welcome :D:D

The wireless kit allows you to mount everything under the hood in a weather proof box. It then send a wire signal to the cabin interface so you do not have to run wires through the fire wall...The on and of fuction is done by a Keyfob.
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
how much ?
and is the any down side to this unit like glitching ?
can i also use this for my 9500ci ?
do i need 2 of them or will one run it for me
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
How much is that Cheetah going to cost you? I had mine hard wired installed for $150. Seems like the Cheetah alone costs more than that. Even if it is substantially more expensive for you to get it installed, the difference between the M27 and the LI PLUS the cost of the Cheetah should more than make up for the difference.
You get a simpler install that way and have one less thing to (potentially) break down. And you also keep your ticket warranty with a professional install of the M27.
Just want to make sure you are considering all the options.
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
yaa its cool but i guess its pointless to me
i do all my installs my self
and by the looks of things i still have run my 9500ci wires to the cabin
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
Unfortunately , I can confirm that M27 and Cheetah wireless kit ARE NOT compatible...
I just bought the two and the connectors are not the same. May be because Blinder added the 3 way switch wich requires one more Molex pin than the previous version.
120$ in my face :(

All dealers had been assured by Cheetah that the wireless kit was compatible....I am sure if you contact Cheetah here on the forum they will take care of you!
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
Wireless Fitting Kits for the Blinder M27 work perfectly with the new M27 jammer.
Sounds like you've ordered the wrong product.
From what your're describing you have a wireless interface for a Blinder M25 or Blinder M20, not the M27 version. The Blinder jammers are a different set up so Cheetah fitting kits are different set up too.
You need to return that to your dealer and order the correct new kit for the M27 version.

I knew I was told they are compatible! Thanks for chiming in on this one!
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
There are a number of reasons why someone would want a Cheetah Wireless Fitting Kit.
- Fitting stuff like this can be very daunting, especially if you are a novice with car electrics. The kit makes it extremely quick, easy and safe for even someone with zero experience to fit a jammer.
- Getting cables through the firewall on cars is getting harder and harder. Occassionally it's straightforward, other times it's very hard and sometimes it's just impossible, particularly on larger vehicles. The Wireless Fitting Kit gets rid of the problem.
- Most people don’t know where to even start when it comes to hardwiring and on modern cars it is becoming harder and harder to find an electrical circuit that you can safely hardwire the power from. The Wireless Fitting Kit gets rid of the problem.
- Fitting the standard kit can take a long time. Wireless Fitting Kit lets you do it in 10 minutes flat. It's a much simpler install.
- Some people want to be able to swap jammers between cars. The Cheetah kit makes that easy.
- Some people drive lease vehicles or company cars. Using the wireless kit means you don't leave any trace of a jammer instal when the car goes back. No holes for LEDs or kill switches, etc.
- Some customers can't take the time off work to put the vehicle into an installers for half a day to get the work done.
- Others have privacy concerns and don't want anyone knowing they have put a jammer onto the car.
- You got a good price for a jammer installation at $150. Some people get it cheaper than that. Although if you look around on here you'll also find installation fees that people have regularly paid $200 - $400 and sometimes a lot more than that.
- It interfaces the alerts automatically with a Cheetah GPS detector so you get voice and tone alerts for jamming, alongside class leading GPS alerts for photo enforcement cameras. (although please note that if you are buying a Cheetah GPS detector at the same time you only need the less expensive Laser Jammer Interface - you don't need a full Wireless Fitting Kit.)
At the end of the day, if you don't need one, you don't have to buy one, but a lot of folk find it very helpful, particularly if it is their first jammer install.

Man .... thats just awesome customer service !! I shall remind everybody that I'm in France !!
I guess that could be another reason to go ahead with Cheetah ( if you needed one more ! ) !!
By the way !!! I wanted to let you guys at Cheetah know that I bought a Laser Star before the M27 ( what a shame on me ... ) and they send me a debadged ( non working of corse..... ) version of your wireless kit !!!!! What a big scam.
I shall let you know the seller details by pm so you can check your side.
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
Did you contact Blinder Denmark to clear up your M27 issue? I already called Blinder USA and they where going to make them aware. All USA companies need to plainly mark there M27 and M47 on their sites as USA versions as I have. That way people are not buying the wrong one.

Yes already mailed the support mail adress you gave me but it seems they are on vacation ( automated answer ). I shall let you know as soon as they give me an answer.
As far as I know , the firmware should be included in the CPU memory. Therefor they may have a software that could change this particular setting in the memory. That could save me the buy of a 100 EUR new unit.
Thanks for your help.
Re: Blinder M27 and Cheetah Wireless kit
i have the same problem you have. the cheetah wireless kit has 3 pin connector. while the m27 has 4 pin. did you get a replacement cable from allyoops?
