I just got my 2nd Redline 4309(2009) vs my other Redline was made in 1610(2010),but exterior paint finished is different:confused::confused:
2010 rubberish finish >2009 Glossy

I like the newer Redline Paint Finished better then Older 09 model..
Cool, when you upload the pics then I will see. Will there be a software different in the two. I was looking at a website and they said that you can upgrade the software in them. Hmmmm, unless Escort can do it I don't see anyway to do that.
Mine is one of the first 2009's and the paint had a tacky feel to it. It works fantastic. I can't see paying another $500 because of a $29.95 paint job.:eek: I think I'll keep it.:DQuote:

I like the flat black look better. I'm not sure which mine has though, it's a 5209 so probably the shiny but I'll have to check to make sure.

I have the matte black rubberized finish on my 2010.
I definitely like the look of the newer redline
I think after look at the old one I like the new one.

Mine is a Dec 09 and has the flat black finish.
Mine is 4909 and is matte rubberized finish.
Maybe they switched the paint because the old paint sucked. I sent my first Redline back because it had messed up paint job on one side, like someone had pawed it before the paint was dry. That was a 4109. I don't specifically remember it being shiny, but it probably was.Quote:
