Where to install LI on a 2010 Infiniti G37x?
I am getting ready to buy LI and install on my 2010 Infiniti G37x Sedan. Has anyone else installed them on an Infiniti before? What do you guys think the best location would be for them? Thanks y'all!

I don't know if they would go thru the grill like they did on the Merc as the grill is not parallel and each one is curving up and inward in the back. The gap between is less than an inch at the widest point. The install in the back would attract people to grab them or rip them here in NJ;)

There are several Infiniti LI Users with this exact grill so fitment is not an issue especially with all new LI Sensors being the slim style. :)
We have never heard of anyone having their sensors vandalized but this is always a possibility.

Great. Thanks. I shall get the smaller sensor then. Should I place them higher or lower in the grill? I just got my rear door keyed so deep that it needs to be painted with only 600 miles on the car so I am a little paranoid.;)

You asked for the best location, not how to get it done.

Guess you better just slow down then, eh?

I lived on LINY for many years and now being here in Florida, rarely run across vehicle vandalism short of jilted lovers revenge so call me jaded.
Effective March 1, 2010, we have eliminated the larger sensor from our US product line completely. With the new Generation 8's enhanced receiver and detection capabilities, we can now fully exploit the smaller, slim sensor in both the front and rear vehicle applications whilst at the same time, allowing for easier and more stealthy installs due to their smaller foot print.
Ideally, you want to install your sensors as close vertically and horizontally to your headlights and taillights, the most reflective parts of your vehicle. With that said, the grill vane that allows for the sensors to be seated closest to the headlights should be utilized for the sensors location.

You may be right. Well the best location for me also entails a good and easy install. Especially when the car has to go back at the end of the lease period;)

Makes sense for the front. What about the area on both sides of the rear license plate? I know that it is a little bit low but that would be the cleanest install.
Re: Where to install LI on a 2010 Infiniti G37x?
You can try that, only testing will tell. We have seen both good and not so good results with the sensors positioned so close. Remember my saying, "Stealth the car NOT the install!" With that said, please keep in mind that you're trying to keep from receiving a LIDAR Summons with your LCM installation, not win a beauty contest although it is always nice to be able to accomplish both a stealthy, esthetically pleasing as well as a functional installation.

I have a 2009 G37 as well. So how did the install go and where you place the sensors. Pictures would be great! tks
