status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
I wanted to get a status update on the 'fix' that im sure is in the works to make LI jam laser ally.
We've all seen the youtube video of laser ally not being affected by LI.
I believe user Dragon is disillusioned about his company's creation and somehow believes he is on the side of 'good vs. Evil' based on his comments about the us and russians.
At the same time, I do appreciate his comments on here.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
I think we've all been wondering the same thing. I'm sure the second LI is able to jam the laser ally, Cliff will be here letting us know, as soon as it happens.

Certainly didn't mean to imply one side was good and the other evil. I was really just referring to the punch and counter-punch. I am sure LI and Blinder will come out with something in the future. We do have several versions waiting in the wings after we see what is attempted. I know LI has stated their device is Class 1M per IEC (and more recently seem to imply it is Class I per FDA). As I have said before I am sure they have and will measure the output under the worst case scenario (highest countermeasure output energy and power) to qualify their new device, as the number one priority for any laser manufacturer is safety.
LI and Blinder have very smart designers, I am sure will we have to deploy the new versions in the future, but give us a little credit on the Laser Ally...It was approved in July and has held tough through now without a follow-on revision.

Well with 3 units sold, it takes a while before we enthusiasts can get one to dissect. Heck it's been 3 years since the Truspeed was released and only recently has anyone started seeing them in the wild.
Once Blinder and LI get their hands on one I don't think it will be long before the Laser Ally is jammable.
Rumor has it that beta software is being tested as we speak, but that's just a rumor.:D

Not to derail this thread but looks like digital ally is on the ropes as a company. The financial report a few weeks ago was brutal.

Based upon another thread, Blinderguy has had one for 2-3 months. According to Cat4 I guess LI and Blinder have 2 out of the 3 sold!

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Dragon,
Since your company is having such a hard time selling them, I'll buy one. Just get me a good deal.

That's pretty close to the truth actually!!! Not exactly the truth but not very far off!!

Speaking of that other thread, I'm really getting hungry. What sounds good for dinner?

That's good but I'm a pizza guy. I literally eat the stuff almost seven days a week. However it must be thin crispy crust. *starts drooling*

Maybe they should pair the Laser Ally up with the Hot Wheels radar gun and have a Black Friday sale.
I can see that the Laser Ally is clearly everything that we thought it was going to be.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
How many shares do I need to buy to own a controlling interest? At a-dollar-something a share, it can't be that expensive. I have $27 in my wallet. Is that enough?

Market cap is $24.54 million (there are 16.14 million shares), divide that by two, add one addtional share, that's how much money you need to be a majority shareholder.

Damn it! Looks like I'm gonna have to save up.
On second thought, I'm probably better off investing in a company that's going to be around for a while. You know, one that designs and produces a viable, marketable product that their customer base actually wants.

The rumor mill says they sold a couple more units, watch for the spike in the stock when they report sales have doubled!!!

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Guys, guys... The stock is just temporarily down until they start getting paid from all these other government contracts..., or am I missing something Dragon? In fact, I'm sure that Digital Ally is at the top of the list, the government has lots of money after all. Buying these new Lase Allies is a top priority.
All silliness aside... Dizwiz, I'm guessing there is a good reason LI and Blinder aren't sharing their ideas on these forums, especially with Dragon lurking around. When something is ready to come out, it will come out. Until then, don't feed the Dragon troll. I see he's having so much fun talking about his super awesome laser gun and unjammable technology. Hats off to you Dragon... Really... I mean it.
Pffffft. :)

Dragon, enjoy your success if any while it lasts. For every measure there is a counter measure.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Note to Dragon - Don't ship to South American until you have cash in hand first. (Yea, that one is a low blow. Sorry)

AMERICAN currency too, not pesos!
Or, if it's Colombia or Venezuela, just trade for women.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
When the True Speed came out LI were the 1st to address the issue. History will repeat itself in this case. Ivan will defeat this gun in short order.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Only a matter of time before this gun gets jammed with the rest. I sleep easy knowing no departments have even purchased the gun haha.

Well not exactly, two departments have purchased evaluation units.

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Category 4 is only defending them because he's invested, lol.
Here's the cold hard facts: You guys missed the run. The run was in 2008 from $2.50 up to $10.50. And then it fell and hasn't moved since then. Just waiting on the death spiral now. This thing will be on the OTC soon.

Not defending, I know better than to invest in a hobby. It's to difficult to keep emotions out of it. I agree they look to be in poor financial health. I was simply putting cold hard numbers out there for Dragon. It's going to be hard to survive when you have sold 3 or 4 units to to police departments and an equal number to enthusiasts.
Right now Blinder, LI and individual enthusiasts have purchased more of their units than police departments have. In all likelihood the only way any of use will ever be hit by this unit is at one of our testing events!! Given their recent financial statement, the state of local municipalities budgets and a slow recovery (if one at all), I see this company failing fast.
-
Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Laser ally must have other products. The company can't be relying on this one product for it's survival. If it is, I'll take two of them at MSRP. Dragon, just PM me. I would hate to see the Dragon slayed. He brings too much fun to this board. Time to google.

Ive been searching all over for information regarding this as well. I don't need specifics, would just like a firmware update :-D

Re: status on laser interceptor update to jam laser ally guns
Reading this thread, it looks like they will sell more guns to enthusiasts than PDs. I believe I am more afraid of the Laser Atlanta updates than of the Laser Ally. I can see that having a much easier market.

The infraction you got was from someone else and it fit..There is no infraction for attacking a manufacture..I am not a manufacturer...I am a dealer that is why it is a personal attack...Enough said ...Time to move on. And Alpinestars is not one of my guys..He is a member who has opinions. I do not even know him.

Where did you learn your logic from? A comment about a manufacturer is not a personal attack, but the same comment towards a dealer is a personal attack? Lol, I usually don't laugh out loud from the Internets, but this has me rolling.
With that same reasoning, Cliff is in the same position as you. Thus, negating your Alpinestars comment.
And that being said, I am a member who has opinions as well... but I guess I can only make them known as long as they aren't about blinder, right?
