LASERSHEILD TEST VIDEO

OK, people wer asking if the laser sheild makes and difference when it is wet... i took some pics and also shot a quick vid showing how much the sheild screws a laser light. The only laser I had with batteries was the one on my pistol...so exuse the barrel ;)

Still do not know if the numberplate can be read :oops:

of course the numberplate can still be read, it is not ment to block the numberplate!! it is to defuse the laser energy (which it does clearly in the video)

The pics and video show how much laser energy is defused therefore not allowing a return concentration back to the laser gun.

awesome vid.. hehe, maybe you can do one with a veiled laser shield... heheheh. !! :twisted:

i dont have veil...but im sure somone can do it...

Excellent work, stalker! I really appreciate seeing the results. The only thing is that you're probably going to get a bigger return from retroreflective plate vs. a piece of paper. I'd ask you to do that test but I'd hate to have the PoPo driving up to your house after seeing your license plate on the net. :lol: I've been meaning to pick up a cheap laser pointer to try that one myself.

ive got some wicked reflective stickers here (A4 size) ill do the test again with the reflective paper..see what we get then.

Nice! That's exactly what you need.

Through the water the shield doesn't seem to diffuse much at all, but in air it really does work well.

nah it does...it is just the white background of the Bath....when u see it in real life, there is not much difference at all..

I'm not impressed. All that is happening is that the main laser reflection is moving from the wall to the Lasershield as the LS is moving in front of the beam. The LS is still quite reflective.

no its not...there is about 1% reflection from the laser sheild...

The video i shot in the dark will show this...ill post it when my upload is finished.

Stalker, so basically even though the shiled is wet, it still works? If thats' the case i'm gonna keep mine wet all the time so i don't get caught with it. Mine looks so damn clear now, as if its not even ther coz it rained yesterday.

Nvr2fast: last night you told me that his test proved it didn't work when it's wet!???

no probs m8...in the vid it doesnt look that much different cause the laser sheild is on different angles as it is hard to stick a pistol with a laser on it under water without ruining somthing

Here is a vid i shot in the dark with a reflective A4 sheet sticker behind it...showing the reflectiveness and dampning effect the lasersheild has, I will shoot a night vision one soon.

I don't think that stuff is going to work at all. As long as there is a reflection then the laser gun optics will see it.
Anyway what about the rest of the car??? :?

If that stuff made the number plate illegible for the laser gun then you may be up to something :wink:

Has somebody not invented something like a LCD panel which one can fit over the number plate which turns black the moment it is hit by laser?? :P

Or maybe a device which flips the numberplate the moment it is hit by laser?? :roll:

Well to me the one in the bathtub with water doesn't look nearly as diffused as the one in the one with the empty bathtub. The water one seems to be much more solid. It IS more diffused but certainly not that much in comparison.

I think you guys are missing the point. The diffusion behind the Lasershield is meaningless. The reflection point is now on the LS itself!

yes, as you can see in the 2nd video, the reflection is being dulled by the laser sheild....as dark as it was in the vid, there was pretty much no light being reflected back off the reflective paper thru the laser sheild...

This test was done at 10 inches away from the sheild...a laser will hit you at an average 400 feet...so if you ask me the sheild does its job.

I can shoot my car with laser and get a reading everytime at 400 feet, stick the laser sheild on and no reading ...or maybee 1 out of every 10-...

Stalker, thanks for the video and pics on the LS, it really does show how well this device difuses LIDAR.
I have one question about the LS.
How noticable is it ?
I have a silver writing on a black background number plate and would like to get the LS, but cops in Australia are good at spotting any non standard plate covers. Does it make the plate noticably fuzzy or obstructed ?
I would love to see a example of what it looked like, but no one wants to show their numberplate online

if mounted flush on the plate it is not noticable...it just looks like a plate cover...ive had cops behind me incl HWP and never had a problem...

Ur plate is the Vet Centenary plate?? id say they will be ok.....

I am hoping to photocopy it and see how noticable it is as well, but I am after a multi phased approach. Jammer, LS & non reflective number plate, with Veil as a final defence.
Now all I need is the April GOL to hurry up so I can buy the jammer.[/img]

it will dull the black a little...i have white plates and cant notice it is on there...

I think everyone should have a lasersheild on there ride!it really works and its cheap in price to :wink:
