Can 9500ix detect Laser Atlanta "Stealth" mode lidar?
The well educated users are all aware of the 8500 x50 unable to detect the LA in "Stealth" mode. Only the V1 able to receive the detection.
Can the new 9500i or 9500ix able to detect it?
Re: Can 9500ix detect Laser Atlanta "Stealth" mode lidar?
^ The newer Escorts will detect Stealth Mode just fine, and this includes the ZR4, either stand-alone, or when integrated into the 9500ci.

Actually, can someone confirm whether or not the latest revision of the x50 will/will-not detect the Stealth Mode?
I would find that to be most strange, if it did *NOT*, as the current 9500i does.
Re: Can 9500ix detect Laser Atlanta "Stealth" mode lidar?
I am not 100% sure. All I recall is that the 9500i tested at SML 2008 seemed to respond to everything thrown at it except whatever that new low power laser gun was that Roy had thrown into the SML laser gun testing. So I tentatively agree with TSi+WRX that the latest Escorts should indeed detect the Laser Atlanta's Stealth Mode.
Re: Can 9500ix detect Laser Atlanta "Stealth" mode lidar?
I concur with both of the above statements. And i might also add my 9500I has done a good job with laser saves for me.

What is a Low Power Laser Gun? Is it TruSpeed?

Yeah, the new LTI TruSpeed. I don't know its output power, but it operates on 950nm and is a FDA Class 1 device.

Yeah, supposedly 905nm. Michael is dyslexic. :D I still don't buy this BTW. Even if this is true, it shouldn't effect laser jamming or detecting in any way.

I thought most of the lidar guns were 905nm anyways, I don't know where the 904 comes from. In any event, Laser Interceptor always used a 905nm diode anyways, and +/- 1nm isn't going to make any difference.

I am not dyslexic! It was just a simple typo while trying to type toooo quickly. :)
