Hey guys, I've searched the forum but I didn't find any definitive answers on my question.
Has anyone here purchased an extended warranty for their LI? If so have you used them for a warranty repair or did they just send you a check?
I'm thinking of getting a 5 year extended warranty from squaretrade on Amazon so I just wanted some input on the matter. Thanks.

Hi RW, Thanks for replying. I actually contacted Cliff about installation advice on my Rav4 and he is a very helpful and dedicated guy. I don't want to bother him again so soon so I think I'll wait and see if any forum members have bought a warranty. If no one has then I'll get in touch with Squaretrade and ask them if they'll cover my LI quad, if they say they will then I'll contact Cliff and let him know, maybe LI could even start offering the Squartrade warranty on their site before checkout.Quote:

Ok, so I just went on the squaretrade website and I selected "radar, laser detector" under the car & gps category, I entered the amount I paid and got a quote for $109 for 3 years plus I have the option of getting the accidental damage coverage for another $55. The accidental protection is basically the main reason I want to get the warranty, I'm not too worried about the device failing.
So in conclusion, I am sure squaretrade will cover the LI since the LI is also a Laser Detector. I have a $30 coupon so I think I'm going to go ahead and get the warranty.
