Kinda hard to do..you're just cruising down the road then <bam> you get the hit. Isolate the vehicle and grab the detector.

Hell, I'm just curious to see the STi myself! Especially the set up on the motorbike. This stuff just interests me.

For instance, whenever I get a detector I check the websites to see what it's about. If I get a V1 I check the V1 website and run the serial # to see what version software it has. Like I said, it's an interest.

Hey guys I'm sure Roy was in the same boat when he was on the HP.

Welcome aboard officer!

I'm sure most of us aren't speeders but just have radar detectors as toys. I can honeslty say I rarely speed, I set my cruise at 120 on the 401 and rarely go any faster.

I'd gladly meet up with you and show you the STi. I'm in the London area. PM me. Just please don't take my STI away!!! LoL :lol:

i have been told that in saskatchewan it's $1000 and they take it from your or crush it

i assume ontario is close to the same

Alberta is the only place in canada that i know of 100% that they are "LEGAL"

Nah Alberta, BC and Sask are the total-legal ones. And Manitoba I dunno. I talked to someone there who said "They are illegal but everyone has one anyway".

well i was talking to some customers at work and they came from sask, on a trip to edmonton

and said they got a ticket in sask for there radar for $1000

manitoba is 100% illegal my buddie lived there for liek 3 years

Hey Ontario!

London area here. In one week, I head to Barrie to drive on Season 2 of Canada's Worst Driver (as the over-agressive type). I could really use an old, tired RD for the trip if you have one laying around I could borrow. I'll be sure to return it when I get back....

That show cracks me up. But those old tired RDs are Spectre beacons might be a funny bit. We've got some coppers on this board that could nail your ass with it.

Make sure you light up the tires for the show. :lol:

So I found out (lost mine several years ago to OPP), LOL. He looked for a good 15 minutes before finally pushin' the right button, DOH! He was better than the city cops. They looked for 20 minutes before giving up! LOL

Tires??? HA... I wonder if anyone's ROLLED one yet!?! (just might be a first, hehehe)
