If money was no object which radar detector would you get??

I would LOVE to try out the STi in the big truck :P .

No one mentions Bel Pro RX65? I think it's better than a V1, at least for Ka radar...

I'd personally go with the E-8 Joint STARS, crewed by the USAF in flight above me whenever I'm on the road.

Seriously, the V1 has to be the most out of date looking box on the market.

I think the V1 performs sensationally and is definately one of, if not the top detector available next to the STi, but I think most forum members would agree with me hands down that the V1 is one bulky ugly looking box to have hanging from your windscreen thats for sure.

Just had to vent that one, as reading your 'STi ugly' comment made my eyes pop.

8500 X50....i can't get over the V1's 1970's cheap look...but that's me

i would probably go for STi since its the new thing either that or a V1
