Yeah, there's no arguing the point about features. OTOH, the X50 is 2X the price.

your right about the price but if you go to the beginning of the thread you will see i got it for $180. so now i have a great backup in the v940.

Airmoore - been using the x50 with all bands on (including POP) been getting lots of false X alerts, but need to keep X on for driving through NJ. Any idea how to set it to minimize some false alarms.

One thing i mis from the V940 is the spoken alerts "you have a Ka alert", now i have to look every time.
